Gear Motor 24 DC

📍 Where It Is Used?

In a 2 lane premix machine:
1 gear motor → Coffee premix container
1 gear motor → Tea premix container
Some machines also use:
Separate motor for whipper (mixing)

🔧 What Is Its Function?

1️⃣ Rotate Premix Screw
Inside the premix container there is: 👉 Spiral screw / auger
When customer presses button:
Controller board sends signal
Gear motor rotates
Screw pushes premix powder down
Correct quantity falls into mixing bowl

2  Control Quantity

Motor runs only for few seconds (like 2–4 sec).
More running time = more powder.
Less running time = less powder.

⚙️ Why “Gear” Motor?

Normal motor spins very fast (3000 RPM).
But vending machine needs: 👉 Slow speed
👉 Strong torque
So gearbox reduces speed to:
20 RPM
30 RPM
60 RPM (common types)
Slow but powerful rotation.

🚨 If Gear Motor Problem

You may notice: ❌ No powder coming
❌ Very little powder
❌ Continuous powder falling
❌ Grinding sound
❌ Motor not rotating
❌ Burning smell
